135 cm - in a halter

What do you do when you have entered in an advanced jumping test and a bee sting makes it difficult for the horse to wear a bit?

If the rider is called Martin Knudsen and the horse is called Coleen, you do like this - and then you of course deliver a clear round.

Coleen Gersdorf is one of the horses that we are developing towards the advanced levels. She's by Cachas / Carano and currently competes in 135-145 cm tests. Read more about her dam and the damline here (in Danish).

Coleen is not the only of our horses that in Martin's hands. Recently the Danish national team jumper has purchased a share in our chestnut firecracker Gørklintgårds Malaga. She's just a year old and by Zapatero / Quidams Rubin.

Beforehand, Martin has become well aqquainted with the family. He has ridden two older sisters to Malaga, Gørklintgårds Medina and Gørklintgårds Mila. The former qualified for the Danish Youngster Final and sold to Ireland, and earlier this month the latter placed at the youngster final at the international show in Drammen. The dam of all three mares is our own, homebred Malin.
